Storyville Coffee Company is completely delicious. With four storefront locations and a roasting venue in the Seattle area, they wanted a content strategy to set themselves apart in the competitive coffee market.
Our kickoff brand audit session is normally conducted over Zoom, but Storyville Coffee Company was different. Since the in-person experience is critical for the brand, we flew up to Seattle for a tour and working session. Here’s how we’d describe Storyville in a sentence:

Storyville’s coffee is exceptional—the best we’ve ever tasted—and we wanted to capture that in-person comfort to promote their mail-home subscription service. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest, our team flew to Seattle for a second trip to set the photography standards for the Storyville team.
To us, Storyville symbolizes comfort. The perfect cup of coffee sets the tone for a perfect day where wonder can be found everywhere you look. Seattle became a symbol of possibilities, so we toured the city like locals to capture moments.
There’s a homey nature to the Storyville brand, so we sought to capture emotions through photography. From a child playing with an airplane cookie to a couple snuggled at the coffee shop, the warmth of Storyville’s experience shines through photos.
Now with consistent visual standards that evoke a lifestyle on Instagram, the Storyville team has the tools to grow online. (And you can bet they’ll be our first stop on our next trip to Seattle.)
